I remeber reading some where a while back about getting the centre of steel wheels relocated to increase or decrease the ET. I was wondereing whether it could be done (can't see why not but only by a pro) as i fancy some deepdish style steels.
Some syncro wheels are 6.5J instead of standard 5.5J. Contact some of the syncro breakers for some or if you want to go wider still then give us a shout as we maybe able to help.
I am interested in wider steels too and have looked at synchro wheels...does anyone know if they come in 14" ? and do they take hub caps?... cos I thought not on both counts.
Thats what I needed to know...and do the 14" 6j syncro wheels still take hubcaps? Basically I am running 205 width tyres on 5.5J rims and would rather have them on 6's for obvious reasons, but I still want to run standard hubcaps?!

I wouldn't mess around like that with wheels for a 2-ton truck. The wheel/tyre centre-line wants to be running pretty well where the manufacturer intended
Think the deepdish look and the relocation of the ET are contrary, wouldn't you lose the first by doing the second?
