Under the grotty grey PVC sleeving, what do we find? Look at the date code and spec.

Late 92/ early 93 and its FPM, so VW were already specifying ethanol resistant fuel hose on DJ, MV & SS engines.

And it's not perished, splitting or degraded.

Yes we know that its over £10 a metre but you only need about five metres to do the entire system and its cheaper than an engine fire...Image
