hi everyone just bought a speedo grease cap and cannot get it to go on,even with a wack with a hammer,any ideas

are their different sizes

its better to burn out than to fade away 1.9 dg petrol transporter1988

mine are internal too
never seen an external fit grease cap on a VW (they may well exist)

I fitted a new one from Brickwerks at the weekend, it was a good fit, went on with a few knocks of the plastic mallet.
