I changed my van from a single colour to a three colour design of my own.

where you are in the uk is a factor in prices.

but if you are prepared to travel then you may save some money.

regarding the shows if you are a member then check out club trips and shows But I would recommend Vanwest ...BVF ...Bustypes ...vanfest ...Devadubs ...run to the hills ....

all of that cost u only £850 kev? ive been quoted 2 and a half grand to spray inside and out thats it im moving closer to where your at lol

Yes thats right but add on the windows refitted and the figure rose to £930.

I did not take the inside spray option, but shepster and richnewton did I think. not sure about the others.
I don't think anyone has paid over a grand though

You dont have to pay silly money mate.
Mine cost around £900 and had a couple of new panels.
Kevs van looks supurb they did a fantastic job on it.

Its not show van quality by any means it just tidyed it up from the army green it was before.
Not a VW colour its a metalic yellow ,pearl yellow i think it was.
I saw it in his colour book and thought i have got to have that :lol: you can sure see it comming its a bit bright :D .
It was yellow originaly but not as bright.

I think it's a great colour (bit biased as yellow is me fave) and suits the van.

was the stripe painted on like mine or decal

The stripe is the best bit,painted on. You have to get close to see the patterns in it.

Kev was there any body work that needed to be done, ie seems, dents, rust, ect.
Ps... I preffered it before. :lol:

Yes Rob, there was a little bodywork to do....

The roof had a hole in it where the ariel fitted, a couple of dents in the sills,
general scabbyness on the front and sides below the lateral line, some more deeper rust around the rear side windows,
the seams were bad behind the rear nearside and just scabby every where else
the plastics were faded to feck so they were painted too

As for the design you have a fan...my daughter wanted to keep it the same.

I though, think the Autosleeper livery sucks.
