Just aquired a Caravelle rear seat and upon fitting, I cannot find anywhere for the seat-back lock bolts to go! Anyone got any ideas/soluyions, otherwise I'll have to bolt them on with some seatbelt brakets as the only other place I can find to put them would be drilling into a box section which I think is the inside of the sliding door runner and blank on the other side! No other problems aside from that though!

Hi - if it wasn't a velle before, I suppose you may not have the bolt that screws into the body already fitted.
I have just broken my velle, and the chap that had the rear seats took the bolts too. Just behind the panel there is a mount that the bolt screws into....if you pm me your addy, I will photograph and send it to you....the mount may be there under a panel? T'ohter half has a panel van...can have a ganders at that as well....
However, a photo may show you where to get a bolt welded too. I assume you have got the bolts that screw in that the hook on the back of the seats hooks over??

bodg.. fixed it. theres no fixing for the backrests unfortunatly so I had to make up some nifty brakets and bolts. (converted panel van, tis why!) The bolt holes for the seatback hinges were there but no captive nuts fitted and the same for the seatbase front locks.. Now I have to make up some new trim for the sides of the van where the old seats were, and make a new cover for the speaker panel. Cheers for your help!
