Battery Charger

Post by Bobass »

I've tried to post this once, but failed. Apologies if it turns up twice.

I've got my hands on a 110aH leisure battery in good condition - 2yrs into its 5yr guaranteed life. I don't intend to charge it in the van at the moment, so I'm in the market for a mains charger. On ebay they vary from approx. £10 up towards £100. I'm not bothered how quickly it charges the battery, I just want one that does the job for as cheap as poss. Any thoughts?

Ta,
Bob

A leisure battery charger will prolong it's life ....a four or three phase charger.
normal chargers don't give you their full potential

Lidl used to sell them for a tenner....I bought one!

Thanks for that Kevtherev
Saw no legs in hunting around all the Lidls in the land - seeing as that was an old post, so I've spent me hard earned cash on the Ctec 3 phase charger mentioned.
I was kind of desperate to dissappear this weekend with a fully charged van!
