Anyone know what type of socket this is? It's about half the size of a cigarette socket. I'm hoping to get an adaptor to make it USB.

Or perhaps even more useful...two ports (one for your phone and the other for a tab or similar higher powered unit) PLUS a voltmeter to keep an eye on your leisure battery charge level.

It wouldn't take much to swap over the sockets.

No need for swapping you can get very good Din phone USB sockets.
Go for 3.3 amps
