JK Exhaust OK

Post by DaveB »

Is Just Kampers the best place to get a complete exhaust unit for a 1.9 watercooled (1989). It's £269 on their site and I paid shed loads more than that to have one fitted 6 years ago.

I bought mine off GSF and I think they might be all from the same manufacturer

I'm told stainless is the way to go and they do seem to be coming down in price

Got a link to GSF?

The JK rig is not stainless and seeing as this will be the third exhaust the van's had I would like to make it the last.

My last JK exhaust lasted a marvellous 2 and a half years.

Just fitted a JP Exhaust, sounds lovely, full stainless steel and the deal maker for me... A lifetime guarantee!

The initial outlay stung a bit, but I'll never have to pay for an exhaust again :D

From JP Exhausts in Macclesfield

http://www.jpexhausts.co.uk/

They do runs of them, so sometimes have them on the shelf, other times you have to wait a bit.

I paid approx £500 including carriage and that was for a 1.9DG. A lot of money, but it looks a top bit of kit. Bit louder than the standard pipes though.
