Respray with Bedliner

Post by Oilline »

I'm thinking of respraying my Syncro entirely with U-Pol Raptor bed liner paint. I have seen a pictures of a couple examples on the internet but not in the flesh.
Think it might suit the look of the Syncro and be a tough finish that I don't have to worry about scratching when green laning.
Another advantage is that I could spray it myself at home as a perfect finish is not required.
My only concern is that if I don't like it it will be a bugger to sand down again.
Any thoughts ?

I'm planning to spray our Doka load bed and maybe the Vindic with the same, so I'll be watching with interest. I'll be trying to get texture on the load bed and smooth on the Vindic.

You can apply Raptor with a roller which gives a fairly smooth but tough texture.

They also do a 'tintable' version that you can add any colour paint to orbit with a tough finish.

I have painted the lower sections of my bus with Raptor and I'm happy with the results.
