just been reading the bashtie thread and realised we really need to get ourselves a cb radio, but we know nothing about how/where etc. anyone help out with the details. thanks

i got a brand spanker (needed another one at short notcie) from maplins for £40 and an aerial for a tenner! perfect!

check out Ebay in the USA.
C.B Radios used to the the in thing back in the USA in the 70's
I actually used to be in a Cb club, but most of the advise I can offer can be out dated, but I know you will be able to get one very cheap there last time I was in the USA I saw lots of ppl flogging them for pennies, and those pieces of equipment were very dear back in the day. I fear that they have been replaced by the cell phone.
