Hi guys. Hope everyone's well. I am trying to fire up my D2L without success and wanted to ask for some pointers. Not sure if I'm missing something.
At the moment I get lights on all the control panels. I can hear a click when I engage the manual override on the timer and / or set the thermostat, but no fan or activity from the underslung unit.
Am I right in thinking there are 3 x fuses? One in the fuse panel (slot 16&17 I think?... Seems to be some conflicting info on which fuse slots it is), one under the driver's seatbelt and one under the passenger seat?
Also I seem to have an additional green button installed next to the timer which might have been added later. Wondering if this could be a separate override...

Somewhere under the rear seat will (usually) be a silver box that all the wiring leads to - that is the ecu. In the base of that is a fuse for the motor - T1.25 is the value for it.

Great. Got that thanks. I've checked the fuse which has unbroken wire visible through the clear casing. It says T10A 250V.

That fuse should be the one specified - if it is 10A it is far too high a rating and will not protect the motor circuit if there is an error. It is possible that, if it is 10A, the motor is burnt out due to this. Someone may have put that high one in as the motor kept blowing fuses due to it starting to fail.

Cheers again for sharing your knowledge Oldiebut goodie. What do you think might be a good way forward? Wondering if there's an alternative to having another heater fitted.
I'd be grateful for your advice.

If you don't feel that you have the skills to undertake a strip down and diagnosing of the heater you are a bit stuck as no one will take them on due to their age.
I came up with a solution utilizing the modern Webasto Airtop 2000 heaters as they fit in the box so keeping the heater under the van and the vents as they are originally. It still requires that you can drill a couple of bolt holes and remove and replace the box and do any fettling that may be needed so may or may not be for you. Several members have now done this.
It would go in the box like this: ( pm me if you are interested in a kit - they are around £270)
