sill repair help (can't find posts)

Post by Fatfranky »

Hi

Can anyone help me, I have the above to do on my van ( along with other body repairs) I have done bodywork in the past and am confident in tackling the repairs, but some familiarity with the vehicle type is useful and I welcome any tips/advice

In the past in the "major restorations" section I have read threads by a member who's name I don't recall, covering a lot of these repairs, but now I can't seem to find them!

As I say I don't recall his name but I seem to think he lived in East Yorkshire, he used a bit of oxy/acetylene welding and fabricated and formed a lot of his own panels/ sections, his most recent project was a Westfalia needing similar repairs.

Can anyone guide me to him or his posts please

Many thanks

The fella you mention has asked for his posts to be removed for personal reasons.

Shame!

I flicked through them previously and they were most helpful.
