Have a good search and read, there is masses of info on the forum (maybe too much) on wheels, tyres, spacers, studs, fitting kits etc etc etc

Some fitting is a "suck it and see" type job, a lot depends on the rim offset (ET) number.

I am of the opinion that the tyres need to be load rated at least 97 as a minimum (according to my VW manual), mine are 99 Reinforced.
Keep it real.

If you have a camper it will weigh nearly two tonnes and your wheels have to be able to carry that weight as do the tyres

it's been debated to death on here ...try doing a keyword search on the search facility at the top of the page for some very interestig and valid points

according to spec plate mine is ....front axle....1200kg
.................................................rear axle......1300kg

100kg over max laden weight of 2400kg.

VW explained this to me but its too long to type!

"budget" for 2500KG minimum. not many car wheels go to that, plenty of people do it though. Insurance calim may be tricky if it comes to it.
