Never been a lover of covers but my new van has this one fitted and it's so much nicer to drive with it, it increases the diameter in your hands more like a modern wheel and it's softer and more grippy.
The wheel is 45cm in diameter which is very large, has a google and can't find many that size, anybody got any recommendations or seen this one for sale?
It's a bit of a stretch to get it on so I'm wondering if it was a 43cm cover.
thanks

I have a sew on leather one from flea bay, it helps with the thinness of the wheel a little but also stops the gooey plastic feel

The problem I see with ads that say 'Fits VWT25' is that there were different steering wheel diameters fitted so how do I know if it fits my 45cm wheel?
I have the same cover for my van. I am very impressed with the fit but you do have to sew it on. I can measure my steering wheel tomorrow and let you know the size. I does fit really well and has mounded to the shape incredibly well.
I sent the seller a message telling him i didn't want a cover for the standard wheel, but one for the power steering wheel. He knew exactly what i wanted.
But as you say they are not what your after.

If anyone fancies a wood effect 45cm one for the cost of postage, i have one that was on my old van for a few months, current van has padded steering wheel, pm me if interested.
For those with time on their hands, you can make one yourself! (thinking of giving it a go, though I imagine my results might not be so impressive as this expert); https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PcAmaou3F2g

Made my own donkey's years ago, strip of leather of ebay, couple of minutes on the sewing machine, punch lacing holes, cutoff of the leather for lacing and Bob's your auntie! Easiest thing in the world to do in the material of your choice and made to fit. You may wish to add a comfort layer of thin neoprene foam if you don't already have a padded wheel. No need for instructions on something this simple.
