I've attached 2 photos (hopefully). One set show the fittings from a 1990 Westy. The other are from an unknown Westy tank.


If you look closely you will see that one pic has a float on the fill adaptor, whilst the other doesn't.
You'll also notice that the one which doesn't have the float also has an additional adaptor with a long insert (bleed valve).
So my question...
I have had the unknown Westy tank blasted and painted, and wondering which fittings to use.
My gut feeling is to go for the later fittings (the set with the filler float cut off), and block the bleed valve hole.
What would you do?
Also, how are you supposed to fill using the fittings with the bleed valve?
Really hope this makes sense!
