Drove home last night and apparently I was doing 90mph!
Has anyone experienced a speedo over-reading (i.e. Not the usual under-reading/bouncing)
Seems to only occur when cold (outside air temp - not cold engine) - is it possible gears in the mechanism are sticking together and one is dragging another round?
Anyone got any ideas? (Other than pull it apart and have a look)

It is usually a fault with the tension spring there is no physical connection between the needle and the cable the needle is pulled round by the cable turning a magnet producing eddy currents.
