I have just been around to my camper where I store it. Not been around to it for a good 2 months. Thought I best start it and let the battery charge etc.
I couldn't get it started at battery a little low. Took my car battery out of my car and used that. It turned over ok but failed to start. Thought I may have flooded it so called it a day. A few times it did pop a little. Not heard anything like it on my van before but didn't really think much of it.
As I was recovering the van I noticed a huge roll of metal gauze (fine chicken wire) hanging out of the rear pipe. It is 2" diameter and 12" long.
Could this be part on the exhaust or has someone shoved it up there in some sort of thefty trick?
I'm a little concerned!
Thanks!!!

Re: Metal gauze hanging out of exhaust pipe
i would think it would be just a "baffle" part of the exhaust, is it petrol or diesel?
We should all start to live before we get too old. Fear is stupid. So are regrets.
