dab aerial

hi all seasons greetings I had my van booked in to Halfords today for a dab radio cd player fitted. it was one of their bundle price offers radio was £125 and the fitted price would not go over £155 and I was told the dab aerial alone was £30 so thought it a good deal. despite him looking at van when I booked today he said Halfords glass mount aerial cant be used on old style windscreens and the halford magnetic ones are no good for a van either so they said they wouldn't recommend a dab for the van and there was no others with the fitting offer. has this happened to anyone else or have I been fobbed off. anyone got dab how did you get round this.thanks all and I would like to wish all members a very merry Christmas. cheers Eugene and tracy
