Sorry I should have said I know its Weber but I believe there are DGAV DGEV DGV types etc out there but how do you ID them?

You need to take a pic at a different angle - it is 3 letters starting with D. Can only hazard a guess at the other two....... maybe F3????

It has R6657 stamped on to the base lip which when Googled some else says its "looks almost identical to weber". Question still remains which rebuild kit do I buy?
