Webber carbs
All I can say is the Webber carb JK have on LTD sale are a good alternative/replacement to the Origional equipment.
You will be hard pushed to improve on the standard equipment for smooth running and /or fuel consumption .
Perhaps yours just needs a good service/ blow out etc etc,,,,,,and besides hic-ups/hesitaion problems are often cured by replacing the pull down unit (diaphragm unit).
These are available from Dr Baxter for about 20 quid + postage.
Regards
Fritz,,,,,,,,,
PS, I also suffered from similar problems till I replaced the pull down unit on our 1.9 petrol Camper....drive is now smoother than ever, No flat spots/Hic-ups/Hesitations,,,,,,,
