Fixed quarter light fitting

Post by freckvan1 »

Hello All,

Replacing my quarter light bar with new . I have fixed quarter lights which I have'nt replaced as they are OK .

Are the quarter lights fixed to the quarter light bar somehow, or is it just the quarter light seal fits into door then into U channel on quarter light bar, which is then secured by panel scores on top of door and bolt at bottom ? Scrapers and rest then fitted .

Looked in Wiki and trawled net till I'm bog eyed, would be great to see a diagram or photo to help.

Atb,
Chris

If you had a Haynes manual you wouldnt have to trawl the internet , its how you said, only seal into bar.

Thanks Multisi good news then .

I'll install quarter light into door, then manœuvre quarter light bar into position, make sure seal located,
then fasten top and bottom .

Yup did have a Haynes, lent it to another owner who appears to have b......d off with it !
