Diesel battery holder ?

My panel van started out as a petrol but the previous only swapped the engine for a diesel but the battery is still under the seat. Is the diesel battery holder welded in place? How hard would it be to fit one and move the battery? Be good to gain the extra space under the seat.

Should be at the rear, the power cable needs to be short. Yes welded in.
