Bit subjective really
At night when it's quiet or you're on a campsite or a quiet wild camp it is noticable
whether it keeps waking you up is down to you really

and yes it's ok and works well for those temps

As Kev says, the waeco of course is a compressor fridge that 'cycles' on off, so yes, they do make a noise. This is one of the reasons I have resisted the temptation, my wife is such a light sleeper I just know this would be an issue for her. You might sleep through it?

We have a very old compressor fridge in there, with I'm sure a much louder humm than a new weaco. Quite like it, doing its thing off and on in the van. I bet you'd get used to it. Wouldn't be without a fridge!

I have one and find it intrusive enough to wake me if I sleep head towards the front but not if I sleep head towards the back (without wishing to re-start that debate!).

However, I now turn it right down (setting 1 or 2) or even off overnight. So long as the door isn't opened (tends not to be if I'm asleep!) stuff stays cold overnight. Indeed ice lollies stay frozen in the freezer. If I remember I freeze a couple ice packs in the day and pop those in the main fridge at night if I do want to turn it off.
