I know someone who has one of these...if its just a decent amount of refrigeration capacity then these are very versatile. Two models...the RC1200 & RC1700 ..the latter is more powerful....brilliant on gas or mains, 12 volts OK for when you're on the move only.

As CD said above, poor on 12v. Dometic (one we had) 33Ltr capacity I think, excellent on 240v (as you'd expect) superb on gas, would make ice out of anything !! (took me ages to get used to the settings. Would recommend one but wtoo big for us and too heavy to heave in and out when full.

Sold mine for £50 iirc

Yeah I bought it. Really chuffed with it. :D

Defrosted my freezer recently and I was amazed - got almost everything (packed tight) in that coolbox, turned it up to max and I was able to defrost at my leisure.

Much better than a fridge in lots of ways. I've also used it with just a bottle of frozen water laid in the bottom and it kept everything cool for nearly two days. After that I just connected it to the gas so you can save a few pennies doing that.

Finally, I lit the gas and went off for a drive down hill and dale, round tight corners, and it stayed lit! :D

Thanks once again for it. Bit of a trek up to yours but so happy with it. Hows the chickens? :D
