New Headlining

Post by R111RWD »

Hi - just in the process of gutting my 85 T25 Leisuredrive to refit the interior.

The current headlining/wall lining was shot, so thin and brittle and torn so have pulled that out, however not sure what to replace it with. Currently the same lining was used throughout the van - cab and high top included and wondered if anyone had any tips to replace it and what to use.

Thankfully there is no rust internally at all so got a good base to work with!!

Thanks
Ryan

P.s sorry if this is in the wrong forum!

Mine is totally bare too. I've bought some stretch carpet to stick up there but I will probably use some thin plywood and cover it with the carpet somehow.

Yeah I have been trying to think of a more simple solution - fitting headlining always looks a nightmare in a car!

Saw a place called Megavan that sells headlining for campers but not sure how you get on with fitting it in the cab... will see how things go!

Looks good MM. Think I'll do a similar job. I have to do the cab area as well though which looks like it could be tricky due to all the curves.
