saab front seats

Post by happy van »

I was just wondering the best way to fit saab front seats in my t25.i had a look on Wikipedia but thinking of getting rid of the original front runners and mounting the Saab runners to the seat box.is this a good way of fitting them as using the original runners makes the seat sit high any thoughts on this thanks.and what's the best way to go about it thanks.

I have fitted quite a few saab seats in t25's.........I drill out all the spot welds on the original runners and remove them.......you can drill through holes on saab seat runners at the front and back of the runners and using m8 or m10 bolts with washers on the bottom they fit really well.......you can tack weld along the sides if you want to.......because the seat belt anchors are on the van and not on the seat it is not so critical..........the saab seats are quite high so removing the original runners makes the seats only slighty higher.......
