Westy California Gas tank fittings and 3 way fridge question

Post by davidoft1 »

Hello folks

Seems I need a new gas tank regulator tap, BBQ fitting etc, the regulator is 50mb with a 21mm left hand thread fitting, anyone know where to source all the bits,

2nd issue is with my 3 way fridge, it works perfectly on gas and get cold quickly, but I can't get it cooling on 240 or 12v, how long does it take to cool down on 12 or 240v? Should the red light stay lit on 12/240v or is it just an igniter light

Thanks

I'd check busshop.de for the regulator bits. Re the fridge it should cool quickly on 240v , less so on 12v but will only work on 12v when the engine is running. The red light on the fridge is the igniter light and shows when the spark generator is on. (If it's the same as mine) is this the red light you mean or are you talking about the one on the kitchen control panel. Also check you fuses by the door post to make sure these are in tact. I can't remember if they affect the fridge at all.
