Hi,
Could not find anyway of stopping the front brake hoses just touching the bodywork when the wheels were on full lock.
Rotate the hose (connector) one way and the hose touched the bodywork, rotate the other way and it touched the tyre.
MOT examiner said 'it is almost as though the hose is too long'.
Solution, acceptable for MOT, split some fuel hose, place around brake hose and wrap with self annealing tape.
I think the problem has only been there since the brake calipers were taken off so as to replace the pads. The hoses are about 2/3 years old. End result- Pass.

I'd be quite worried if your pipe / hose is touching the wheel when in full lock. Did you have a look to see if it should be held back by a clip?

I feel your pain...I had the same issue with some high performance front pipes purchased from a well known supplier. Not clear on the second pic but the chaffing has worn a good 5 - 6 centimeters of the outer plastic cover.
