Re: Power steering issue ??
Hi
Maybe start with the simple easy stuff first. Jack the front of the van up and check all the ball joints and suspension. You never know it could be just a spring creaking Hopefully?

I've driven a few old farm Landy's that used to creak when the reservoir was low but I assume you've checked the fluid

Why would the glass be anything other than half full?

The filter inside the reservoir is a free thing to check, could be blocked.

Even the PAS rack has grease on the rack and its guide bushes....put back the gaiters and and apply as needed...also the inner tierods won't mind a blob ...

Is it the rack that's creaking at the front of the van or the pump which is at the rear?
If the noise gets louder when you're doing tight manoeuvres like parking then it may be the pump.
