Aerosol stone guard recommendation pls.

Post by syncroandy »

The lower surface of the sills on my pickup have a bad case of road rash and I'm having them sandblasted clean tomorrow. I'm also rebuilding the front jacking points but thats another story. After sandblasting the first thing will be aerosol etch primer. Between that and the top coat I'd like to put a thin layer of stoneguard to try and reduce future stone chips getting right down to the metal.

Recommendations please !

Aerosol gravitex is good for what it is, the problem with it is it goes too hard and chips just as easy as paint does. The rubbery spray sealant is better if you can get access to a suitable gun.
