Hi
my van went in for some welding and the bodyshop removed the door to get at the rear wheel arch. Now its sitting 2-3mm too high at the back and the door fouls at the top and the catch snags on the way in. Could anyone tell me what might have gone wrong or how I can adjust please
Stevan

Re: Sliding Door out of alignment
get the fools to sort it out, i say fools because to remove a slider you do NOT need to undo anything, its a simple lift off and back on anyhows for the door to sit high at the rear when closed and for it to snag as well looks like they undid the centre mount rather than lifting it off the track, that being the case then loosen of and lift the door lower the mount , slight different procedure depends on late or early as to easiest way

Re: Sliding Door out of alignment
So the 2 bolts on the door side of the U ?
I probably will let them do it as I have to take it back to them anyway for pinstriping, just don't want to bugger up the catch
thanks Mickey

There's also one bolt you need the door card off to get at
