Believe it or not, the Haynes manual wiring loom diagram is very accurate so I'd start off looking at that.

I managed to do my TDi conversion by either working out where everything went by following it through or using the Haynes manual. The only bit it misses out is the imobiliser box being inline with the K-line wire.

If you get stuck, give me a buzz and I'll try to help over the phone.

they dont make a haynes manual for a audi 80 1993 tdi they stopped at about 1989 then the next manual starts at 1996 for the introduction of the a4. the 80 tdi is a one off ecu that has 55 pins only fitted to this car the mk3 golf a4 seats etc have 68 pin up to 98 when they went to 121pin

Angry... bummer!

Most TDi's follow the same wiring basis... with the early ones atleast you don't need the dash clocks to run it! Anyway...

If you email me (performanceghia@hotmail.com) I'll try to scan in the Audi wiring diagram I have. To start with just check out that things add up... that the wire colours are the same before assuming anything.

Simon at Central VW/Audi has his head sorted with Diesel's and has helped me out when I needed it. 0151 3551246
