Oil Filler Tube fit

Post by dooooogle »

Can any one tell me how their T25 1.9DG oil filler tube is set up please - does the plastic extension connect to the metal filler tube by fitting inside of the metal end, or outside.

The reason I ask, is that my plastic extension end fits over the metal tube so when I pour in the oil, I get oil drips onto the engine and what ever surface I filled on (supermarket - not my drive).

They don't come appart, if it leaks it's broken.
Give nwvw a shout he had some second hand recently, new are probably not available at the moment but you could ask coolair, they were getting some in.

Be warned they are expensive.
