Eberspacher
I have just got hold of an eberspacher diesel heater but am removing it from the vehicle myself. It is all complete but obviously with no instructions. My van is a 1.9dg petrol. I am going to need a small appropriate diesel tank. If anyone knows where these are available or has any advice regarding the fitting and running of eberspachers I would be very grateful, cheers John.

nonononono - we have a pump for the ebber - sorry, I thought you were just after a bottle for the diesel.......I honestly have no idea about other pumps working.......but 2nd hand ebber pumps do come up for sale occasionally, and you can buy them new for not too expensive a cost.......
Depending on the size of your 'tank' it should last a fair while. I think it uses approx 1/4 litre Diesel per hour (dependent on weather etc). We only have to fill the bottle once a weekend - but don't leave it on overnight.......
Incidentally -
I have a Holly(6 on Friday) and a Jake(8 last Saturday)........
For a second there I panicked you were a stalker!

Cheers Rob. Hey Jen dont want to sound like twighlight zone but my Jake was born 26.11.01 which made his 4th birthday last Saturday. Dont worry about my Holly though cos her 6th was back in July, cheers John(and Holly and Jake). Anyone out there got any further advice on fitting ebers or in possession of a set of fitting/running instructions that I could have a photocopy of for a small consideration, all the best John.

i have fitted mine under the r&r bed.with the exhaust and breather going through the bottom of the van.others have theirs fitted under the glovebox.with the exhaust and breather pipe going through the bulkhead.
i prefer my way as you get more heat into the van.instead of having a warm front seat.
