subaru conversion airbox / filter

Post by mshaw1980 »

Hi peeps

Just wondered if a cone filter is best or the Subaru standard airbox? Also, which Subaru airbox would I need to buy?

if using a 1999 on legacy the airbox from that works; you relocate it and turn it upside down and half fit it behind the left side rear light, uses the diesel snorkel as air intake is now on left then rjes big rubber intake hose to throttle body - that's the quietest and most factory like way and helps reduce intake noise; cone filter is the quick and easy cheap solution

for a pickup I found citroen zantia airbox works perfectly

Do you need a diesel snorkel and pick up box? I thought the Scooby airbox would have adequate air flow from the rear air intake vent on the t25? Do you not just mount it as far in behind the rear light as it will go then job done?
