My first van!!

Post by stevelane »

So, after many years of wanting I know am the proud owner of a tatty T25

It needs plenty of TLC but looks better than it really is. it has had three owners and the lady I bought it from has owned if for 16years and I am sure it hasn't seen a soapy bucket of water in that time.

However, with a bit of elbow grease I am confident that I will be rewarded with a great van ready for a few family holidays!

Here is a few early pics (I did say its a mess!)

you need to pick a smaller version of the picture, those in the first post are too big for the forum to display i think

Welcome to the forum :ok

That looks to be a nice van in the making. As for cleaning it, you might save yourself a lot of time by buying 5ltrs of TFR detergent from a local motor factor. It's used to clean curtain-sided trucks and will soon shift all that grime with ease.

Do follow the instructions with it though, it's caustic and can burn your skin and bleach plastic if not handled carefully, I. E do not use it undiluted!

:ok
