Clutch pedal return spring.

Post by WKDDOUGSTAR »

Hi guys and gals I posted up an earlier thread about my clutch not lifting fully on my van and having to manually lift it with my foot as I drive.it hasn't eased of any.now looming at it I think it's the clutch return spring.I have had a look on eBay etc and can't find one.does anyone know of this mystical part and where to find it ?also hoe big a job to replace ?I don't think it's the original one on it.the van is a 1984 1.6 diesel t25.looks quite thin.mmm any help would be appreciated. Thanks ;) :D :?

I doubt that it is just a case of the return spring - mine didn't have a spring on it either when I had to do mine. I just found a spring in my spares and adapted that. Mine had been without one for over 10 years before I discovered it was missing and it never affected the return of the pedal until the clevis and hole elongated.
Presumably you haven't explored this as you are posting again despite the previous advice.
