Advice
Hi All,
The engines sadly gone on my T25. Has anyone used QCS in Wetherby for an engine replacement?
Also any advice or garage recommendations for engine replacements would be kindly received.
Thanks,
Laurie

Re: Advice
Get Brickwerks to take a look. They're in Holmfirth, and are probably the best there is.

Re: Advice
Go to the top of the page to the search box put the word Elite in and you will find a fair bit of discussion about them, most of it not very complimentary.west_is_best_89 wrote:Thanks for the tip. Have you used or know anyone whose used Elite Engines?

We should all start to live before we get too old. Fear is stupid. So are regrets.

Re: Advice
Hi! Welcome to the forum.
Brickwerks are very well regarded. A lot of mixed reviews from elite, but not so many positive. But as with many things you often only hear the bad reviews on the internet! Equally its an expensive risk!
Have a search on here about alternative engines. Also, what has gone on the engine?
All the best,
Josh

Has somebody else told you this or have you discovered it yourself?

Re: Advice
Diesel' s are usually completely rebuildable apart from the odd trashed head or turbo which are available from various places but sometimes better to find an old mechanical injected 1.9 td from a golf/passat/skoda/polo and rebuild that instead. A bit more power and slightly tougher and longer lived.

Re: Advice
Elite engines can save a lot on fuel costs...as you'll do many miles getting towed or on low loaders
