Engine number on a 1.6d cs?

Hi all,just filling out my V55/5 1st registration forms for the DVLA,been looking round the block and can't see it,can anybody tell me where it is please?,thanks in advance Dave

Hi all,just been out to the van,underneath the large coolant hose that goes to the block is a machined surface with a number on it a sort of star then JP 262 330,does this sound right?,i was kind of thinking it might have started with 'CS',Thanks Dave

Just had a look on the net,looks like JP coded engines are out of Golfs,cheers Dave
