Fiamma F45S Awning Theft Security

Post by hardwick53 »

Just fitted a F45S and it dawned on me that they're not the most secure with regard to theft.

Anyone had the unfortunate experience of theirs being nicked or what security measures have you done?

I've considered tamper proof nuts.

yes they get stolen often
yes you need security
other than the above which is not removable there are other options but best not discussed on an open forum.

Seen these nuts and others, thanks.
Appreciate outside the nuts any other measures would be wasted by public forum.

I remove mine in winter, not only for security but the brackets get all mouldy and it's a good opportunity to clean and polish under them.

I have a 3m one ( fnarr) so it won't fit in my shed, it's locked up though.
