Indicators and Hazards not working

Post by 16vMatt »

Morning all,
As the title suggests neither my indicators or hazards are working. The dash indicator light is a permanent green and there is no clicking. This makes me think it's the relay how do I go about finding and checking this? Not how I wanted to start the year but hopefully a quick fix. Cheers [THUMBS UP SIGN]

Remove the relay.
Make up a little jumper wire and bridge out the terminals where pins 49 and 49a of the relay came out of.
If the indicators and hazards come on but don't flash then it is a relay fault or you have lost the earth that goes to pin 31 of the relay.

Right I will try that out after my dinner and hope it works. However yet another problem has arisen. Driving home I turned down my road and she cut out. After a couple of minutes she started up again and made it the 300 metres to my house. Tried to start her up about 3 hours later and I can hear the engine trying to turn over but it won't start up. Fuel pump maybe? Seems a shame as I sorned my Corrado this morning and taxed my T25 with intent to use it daily.
