pierbutg 2e3 strainer

Hi I notice there is a cone filter in my carb I was just wondering how you remove it so I can clean it.the cone filter is the one at the to of the crab.

Its a case of wiggling and poking, I have got an old schrieber that I ground down so I can hook it and pull, care must be taken so as not to damage it, the open end of the filter has got a lip around it and its best to use that as leverage so don't poke in too deep as you will be pulling on the mesh

I made a right mess of mine! Trick is, get a self tapping screw in there a couple of turns and then gently pull it out

Hi manage to get the strainer out but it got damage doing it.dose anyone know where I can get one thanks. :ok

Saw a youtube video on this recently, as above the guy used a selftapper to extract the filter

That's what i did it come out ok but it was damaged properly for the person who had the van before me.
