fuel pump

can anyone help me got towed in RAC. last week it was fuel pump,ok I got new one put it on started it up nothing can someone suggest why it wont go, sorry did not say t25 watercooled,transporter,thanks in advance.

I had a similar problem a few weeks back, have you checked the fuel filter underneath the van, also could be a blockage from the fuel tank. My problem turned out to be a carburettor issue.....so may be worth getting that checked first.
It's hard to be great, when your as humble as I am.......

what engine do you have?
1984 1.9 petrol wbx DH with a pierburg carb , LHD westfalia club joker.

New pump won't work until engine is going fast enough. Try a splash of fuel down carb throat. I'll run a for a few seconds then stop. Repeat until pump is working on its own.
