?Leak from gutter possibly

Post by Older 'n dust »

Can anyone comment on the possibility of what I think may be a leak from the gutter that runs above the sliding door.. the one you clamp your awning to?
Noticed a small drip up by pillow when I went away a few days ago, so put a bowl under and hardly anything in when checked it later. Yesterday, went in to clear it out and see what was happening and substantially more water had leaked in (not suprising given the rain in last few days).

The gutter is really pretty rusty and am going away in a couple of weeks, so don't have time or funds to replace. I was going to try filling it with Tiger Seal... can anyone that has used this product for similar give me some thoughts please?.... at least as a temp repair until I can get a new gutter fitted.

Do I need to take all old seal out before I use new or can I just clean up and go over old?

Will I need to cover it with plastic sheeting until it is fully cured (which may take a week or so if this weather keeps up)?

Thanks.... J :ok
You can take me anywhere... twice... the second time to apologise! :P
