coolant warning light problem

Post by stus »

hi all. my warning light is ok to start, it flashes and goes off as it should. however, once its warmed up, then i turn the ignition off, and re-start(stopping to refuel, as an example)it then flashes and wont stop. i replaced the sensor in the top of the header tank, as, upon inspection, it found to be falling apart. this has made no difference. and ive obviously checked the level and the needle doesnt rise and the fan has not cut in. any suggestions gratefully received! :D thanks guys. stu.
