Overheating on Long Steep Hill

Overheating on long steep Hills - red light flashes, cools again when going down!

Checked Additional Water Pump - Not working - I had replaced sensor about 2 years ago as previous sensor was shorting and driving pump till batt discharged. Checked it today - 12 volts going in when sensor shorted. So look likes pump has broken - Expensive!

Radiator Fan is only working on high speed - low speed not working. I have put in new relay but no joy. Radiator sensor has been replaced recently.
High speed is linked to resistor behind front light. Hopefully pics will load.

Has anyone any clues as why the low speed fan may not work?

May have to put a chicken switch in.

Nearly always a thermo switch fault but don't buy cheap.

I'm not a derv merchant but I would be asking why it's getting hot rather than why it's not cooling down. My 2.1 petrol started gradually to run hotter over the years ... I swapped the radiator and voila, now it's cooler than a slammed Splitty at Glasto.

I replaced Thermo switch last year with one from Brickwerks. When I short the plug to thermo switch the fan will run on high speed but not on the low speed. Just trying to get the low speed to work as it will mean that the fan will come on at a lower temperature.
I will follow the wire and see where it leads...
