badge glue?

badge glue?
Can anyone suggest the best way to glue the VW badge on the tailgate?

I'd use 3M VHB tape ( very high bond) it's double sided, good but expensive.

I used gorilla glue very strong but read instructions first

vehicle manufacturers use double sided tape so you can get the badge off again if it needs body work or respray, not sure other adhesives will be removable.fazzer wrote:I used gorilla glue very strong but read instructions first

Go to motor factors and ask for number plate tape.

dont glue...my Polo had the rear badge supergued back on (squint) after having the boot resprayed at some time in its past...took off half the paint when i tried to remove it
