Hello everyone,
Hoping someone can help, I'm on holiday in Cornwall for the next week and a half and it appears my split charge relay has given up the ghost and is no longer charging my leisure battery. Does anyone know of any places in Cornwall where they might sell them.
Thanks in advance for lots of helpful comment
James

Hi, thanks for the reply, I have now and they all look ok. Also, the relay looks a bit burnt out.

Have you got a pic of the relay?
If it's just a 'normal' relay then any automotive place should sell one (even Halfords etc) or even somewhere like Maplins might do something that would work!?!

Ah, dammit I've just replaced the 30 amp I had with another one from halfords.
Would it more advisable to get another 40 amp to replace this one?
Thanks

Hi,
Thanks very much,
The one I have is working a treat at the mo, but will contact if it fails on me.
Thanks again for everyone's help.

Will probably be fine with the 30amp. The 40amp just gives a bit more headroom should the leisure go flatter than ideal.

As long as you have no more than a 30A fuse feeding the relay the relay should be fine.
