Shell v power diesel

Post by Skutch »

Is any one using the shell v power diesel. I've been using it for a month now trying to work out the mpg factor. It cost 7p a litre more than the normal diesel in my area. Do you think that the older diesel engine will benefit from using v power or would it be better to fill up using standard diesel and adding a diesel injector cleaner to it?

why not just fill it with normal diesel without any additives? or have you got money to waste  you could even run it on chip fat, like we do.

we ran on V power last summer whilst on tour abroad. deffinite improvement in power , would hold higher gear up some of the long drags on the autobarne (black forest :o ) and appeared to be same mpg for extra performance . wasnt alot more over there but cant remember how much TBH :o
