Temperature gauge on dash not working

Post by Jonnyb416 »

Since my 1Y engine upgrade a few dash lights aren't working. My biggest concern is the temperature light. I've changed the radiator switches as they weren't working so I know the radiator is working. The water bottle and pipes are not from the donor car so maybe it's nothing to do with the engine install. Could anybody suggest what the problem could be please? Is there a temperature sensor somewhere? Thanks, Jon.
1982 Diesel hightop. 1Y engine. Still work in progress but running and taking us on holidays.
